The image below shows George Delorean and the 1965 Comet he had. Note on the right rear fender the lettering ‘turncoat’ which I believe might reference his running a Ford rather than a Pontiac.

Regardless, this is the car my Dad and the ‘Hi-Risers’ ran after he went to Fernandez and said they could run the car and get the parts.
